The Grandparents Project 4.0

We came up with the Grandparents Project 4.0 as a way to make sure that, in spite of the current sanitary emergency, our residents will never feel alone.

The solutions we chose to implement:

  • The "Telepresenza" Initiative
  • The "Parla con noi" (Talk to us) App
  • The “Let’s Hold Hands” Initiative

The "Telepresenza" Initiative

Technology is at your service!
  • Video calls with the family and caregivers
  • Group activities
  • Check-ups (they are scheduled either by the Centre for Cognitive Disorders and Dementia, your caregiver or your practitioner)
  • Cognitive evaluations
  • Stimulation activities for the cognitive system – individual or in groups
  • Telerehabilitation
  • Conversations with specialists who will evaluate the general cognitive performance, the dependency level and behavioural disorders

The "Parla con noi" (Talk to us) App

Booking of visits and video calls
  • Video calls with the family and caregivers
  • Sharing of the residents' necessities and health condition with the caregivers
  • Organisation of the calendar and the visits
  • Optimisation of the time spent organising the calendar, so that the residents can dedicate more time to other activities

The “Let’s Hold Hands” Initiative

Our goals

  • Let the residents talk to the families and caregivers “face-to-face”
  • Bring together the residents and their family, while still being safe
  • Allow the residents to spend some quality time with their family
